WELCOME TO ABC DISCOVERY PRESCHOOL

Unlocking Curiosity

ABC DISCOVERY PRESCHOOL

Children come full of curiosity and the desire to explore and discover the world around them. We believe that learning should be a hands on exploratory discovery. Through language, art, science, movement, and music, children find learning exciting. We believe that children should have a safe supporting, and nurturing environment where they can develop physically, socially, emotionally  and cognitively. Through positive interactions with peers children will learn social skills and problem solving techniques.

We gather as a whole group several times throughout the day.  We sing songs about letters and numbers. Preschoolers particpate in connecting activities (charts, graphs, songs, etc) to build oral language, social skills, science/math concepts and various literacy skills.

ART

create

We absolutely love creating art! This is a good time for preschoolers to explore, discover and experience. They use fine motor skills, cutting, gluing, problem solving, self-esteem, communicating and creativity. Here is an article on the importance of art.

MEET YOUR TEACHER

Corianne Adams

Corianne has been working with children since she was young. During HS as a "free period" she would go to the elementary and help tutor. Her first job was a teachers aid for elementary summer school. She has taught at various preschools and it was her dream to create her own preschool.

Corianne has four kids and enjoys watching them discover who they are, and guiding them through the process of becoming their best selves. Her oldest son got married in June 2022 and she loves having another daughter added to the family.

Corianne is a Wellness Advocate for doTERRA. She loves to travel and experience various cultures. In her travels she enjoys serving in the communities. While in Jamaica, she helped plant ginger with agriculture students and educated middle school girls about menstrual care with the Days for Girls foundation. In Nepal, with Choice Humanitarian and the Healing Hands foundation, she helped rebuild the first school that was completed after the earthquakes.

This will be her 14th year teaching here in Saratoga Springs. She has BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. She loves teaching preschool age children because of the energy and light they have in their eyes, and how excited they are to learn!
